Carlos Jofré is a Chilean solar energy engineer, founder and CEO of SolarPro Chile, which in 2017 built the La Moneda Palace solar plant under contract to Ecoenergías, the Valparaíso firm he co-founded in 2011. Between 2015 and 2021, CORFO awarded 17 innovation projects to him and the companies he founded or co-founded (CLP 1,075 million).

Carlos Jofré is a Chilean engineer specialized in solar photovoltaic energy and the founder and CEO of SolarPro Chile, a solar engineering company. In 2017 SolarPro built the solar plant at La Moneda Palace, Chile's seat of government, under contract to Ecoenergías, the Valparaíso firm he co-founded in 2011 and later led. Between 2015 and 2021, CORFO, Chile's economic development agency, awarded 17 innovation projects to him and the companies he founded or co-founded, for CLP 1,075 million; he conceived those projects and led their applications.
